Your logo is a visual representation of your brand, the face of your business.

It needs to be designed with your business in mind, so it can send out the right message to your potential customers.

A logo is not just a pretty font and some nice colour combo’s, it has a job to do.

Custom Logo Design

InkSpike Studio offers an affordable custom logo design service.  From start to finish you will be kept in the loop, taking account of your ideas and preferences, throughout the design process.

Your logo is a huge element of your business, you need to adore it!  So if for any reason you’re not satisfied with the designs provided, I will work with you until you’re 100% happy with the logo.

A custom logo design, means just that, a unique logo, designed from scratch, with no clip art in sight.

A logo that stands out, and won’t blend into the crowd.

The Process

A crucial part of the logo design process is understanding your business.

A questionnaire gets the ball rolling.

With questions like “Who is your ideal customer?” and “If your business was a personality, which 3 words would describe them?”, I am able to gain an understanding of how your business can be represented best.

Colour Palette

Use of the correct colours is also a really important part of the design process.

You will be asked to collect images that you feel represent your brand vision,  using these, together we will come up with the perfect colour palette for your logo and brand identity.

Next, I get my sketchbook to work on rough ideas.  Initial concepts are then brought to life using digital design software.

Between 3 and 6, custom logo designs are given for you to choose from.

Once you have chosen your preferred design, we will discuss anything you may like to tweak and then refine it further, until you’re 100% happy with your new logo.

Brand Board

A brand board will be produced featuring your logo, icons,  colours and typefaces.

This is a simple visual resource for you, so you have all important information regarding the design, in one place.

Once you have approved the final designs, logo guidelines and various files will be transferred.  These include source files in vector format, files for web use, and seperate files for print.
