Happy 2018!!

Over the next month or so I have plans to gut my spare room (aka the dumping ground) and create an inspiring space to work from.

At the mo, I work from the dining room table, which is great….but I feel I need to an area where I can step into, and my workday begins…does that make sense?

I love colour, and tend to be drawn to vibrant shades of paint, creating bold rooms…. but as it’s a small space, I’m going to keep the walls white and fill the space with pops of bright loveliness.

I’ve gathered together a few ideas that I adore, (and hope you will too).

How cute is that little planter?!

Hopefully, you’ll see a home office reveal soon 🙂

I too work from home and we (I work with my husband) changed our spare room into an office. It really was the best decision as you can shut the door when you don’t want to think about work! Can’t wait to see the reveal.

Thanks, Stephanie. Exactly! It will also help with distractions from the rest of the family (laser tag battles…and barking pups mostly ;))

Good for you! I really need to do the same thing. Now that most of my children are grown, I have plenty of empty spaces to choose from. Personally, I’d have to go with soothing sand and surf tones, but I’m excited to check back and see how your new office space turns out.

      Thanks so much Valerie!

Looking forward to seeing the finished office. Loving the bright orange file cabinet. I am doing an office makeover this year, it will be fun to check back and see how yours is coming along!
